Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in hands-on technical implementation or solutions architecture.
- Experience in direct client- or partner-facing delivery.
- Proficiency in SQL and a scripting language (Python preferred).
- Proven experience personally writing and shipping production code, data pipelines, and system integrations.
- Ability to independently configure and troubleshoot data mappings and schema alignment.
- Strong communication skills for leading technical discovery and managing institutional technical relationships.
- Demonstrated commitment to educational equity and data-driven social impact.
- Understanding of data privacy, security, and accessibility requirements in education contexts (preferred).
- Background as a software engineer, data scientist, or similar technical role (preferred).
- Ability to travel 10-20% to support institutional go-lives.
Responsibilities
- Directly build and ship code, pipelines, and configuration to connect institutional systems to the platform.
- Configure, validate, and troubleshoot data mappings, schema alignment, and data flows for specific environments.
- Lead technical discovery sessions with institutional IT, data, and IR teams to design integrations and define data flows.
- Produce integration specifications and technical implementation plans tailored to institutional requirements.
- Anticipate integration risks and resolve technical issues independently.
- Develop reusable technical assets such as reference architectures, integration playbooks, and mapping templates.
- Partner with Engineering and Product teams to align integration solutions with platform direction.
