Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
- At least 5 years focused on service-based architectures, business intelligence, or identity and application platforms in enterprise SaaS environments.
- Deep expertise in AWS data and analytics services (Athena, Redshift, Glue, S3, QuickSight, Lake Formation).
- Advanced proficiency in Python for backend services and data processing.
- Advanced proficiency in Java for backend services using Spring Boot.
- Experience with Identity management standards (SAML, OIDC).
- Expert-level SQL skills for complex query optimization and performance tuning.
- Strong full-stack capabilities with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf).
- Proficiency with AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- Proven track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring senior engineers.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop large-scale, mission-critical platform services using AWS native technologies.
- Build and maintain backend services and frontend applications with Java, Python, and React.
- Develop and maintain identity and platform REST APIs with event-driven architectures.
- Lead the design and implementation of robust data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Drive technical strategy and architectural decisions, including query optimization and cost optimization.
- Serve as a technical lead and mentor, conducting architecture and code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative platform and BI solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex performance issues in distributed data systems.
