Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services in a professional setting.
- Proficiency with core AWS services including IAM, S3, KMS, RDS, VPC, ECS, and EC2.
- Experience working with multi-account and multi-region AWS production environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform.
- Scripting experience with one or more languages such as Python, Bash, or Node.js.
- Good knowledge of cloud security principles and services including AWS WAF, GuardDuty, Config, and CloudTrail.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab.
- Experience with software version control and Git.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts including VPC, VPC Peering, Subnets, and Load Balancing.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, OpenSearch, and the ELK stack.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Availability to work during Central European Time (CET) business hours.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable AWS cloud environments and services.
- Manage and prioritize tasks in the cloud infrastructure backlog to address immediate needs and plan long-term improvements.
- Set up infrastructure monitoring and observability solutions, proactively addressing availability, performance or security issues.
- Learn the current infrastructure and take ownership of day to day cloud operational tasks and activities.
- Assess new technologies, systems, and services for production readiness, ensuring seamless and stable integration.
- Prepare and maintain documentation on cloud processes, procedures, and architectures.
- Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles to evaluate and optimize current infrastructure.
- Contribute in out of office hour cloud deployments once or twice a month.
- Conduct POCs on new AWS services and third-party tools.
