Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in medical credentialing within a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
- Proficient in using credentialing software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience with DEA, state licensing, and malpractice insurance enrollment or renewals (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Verify healthcare providers’ credentials, including licensure, education, training, and relevant certifications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing records for all healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
- Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to gather necessary credentialing information
- Assist in resolving any credentialing issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
- Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives related to credentialing processes
