Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in performance testing, software engineering, application support, or related performance engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, k6, or Gatling.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, web application architectures, and performance measurement techniques.
- Experience analyzing performance metrics, logs, and system behavior to identify technical issues.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments and collaborative delivery practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience supporting automated testing processes and CI/CD workflows is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive performance testing strategies, including load, stress, endurance, and spike testing.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, k6, or Gatling.
- Define workload models, performance baselines, and service-level objectives aligned with application release requirements.
- Analyze application logs, system metrics, and observability data to identify performance issues across applications, databases, and infrastructure.
- Integrate automated performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and DevSecOps teams to troubleshoot performance challenges and support root-cause analysis.
- Provide recommendations for remediation, optimization, and improvements to application scalability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and performance engineering practices.
