Requirements
- 3-7 years of professional software engineering experience with JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin, Scala).
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and webhooks in distributed systems.
- Comfortable debugging complex issues using logs, payloads, and system traces.
- Solid understanding of data synchronization concepts like polling, event-driven flows, retries, and idempotency.
- Familiarity with SAP data structures (e.g., IDocs like MATMAS) and ERP/middleware architectures.
- Experience working with SAP environments (ECC, S/4HANA), middleware, or enterprise IT landscapes.
- Ability to navigate backend system architectures independently.
- Collaborative mindset for working with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills for customer-facing interactions.
- Proactive approach to task ownership and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with enterprise customer engineering teams, SPARETECH engineers, Product, and Customer Success to facilitate smooth data exchange.
- Own integration topics end-to-end including architecture discussions, API definition, testing, go-live, and issue resolution.
- Contribute to the core SPARETECH backend (Java/Kotlin) to improve APIs, webhooks, and overall integration reliability.
- Navigate complex system landscapes to solve integration challenges involving distributed data synchronization.
- Communicate technical topics clearly in customer-facing situations.
