Backend Engineer - Enterprise Integration Focus

Collaborate with enterprise customer engineering teams, SPARETECH engineers, Product, and Customer Success to facilitate smooth data exchange.
Own integration topics end-to-end including architecture discussions, API definition, testing, go-live, and issue resolution.
Contribute to the core SPARETECH backend (Java/Kotlin) to improve APIs, webhooks, and overall integration reliability.
Navigate complex system landscapes to solve integration challenges involving distributed data synchronization.
Communicate technical topics clearly in customer-facing situations.

Engineering at SPARETECH

You will build and maintain backend services for our customer-facing web application. Our engineers solve complex problems in a distributed systems environment. You will own features end-to-end, from design to deployment and support. We use JVM-based languages like Java, Kotlin, and Scala. Working with relational databases like PostgreSQL is key. We are always improving our CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and observability tooling.
