Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in provider network operations, contracting, or provider services.
- 1+ years of experience in Health Insurance (Individual and/or Medicare Advantage) and/or Healthcare industry.
- 1+ years of experience navigating and organizing large data sets such as claim files and provider rosters.
- Must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New York, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Virginia.
- Ability to perform frequent travel for client meetings.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent professional working experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate and manage contracts with hospital, health system, and individual healthcare providers.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of provider contracts to identify optimization opportunities.
- Utilize data and analytics on provider finances and competitor strategies to inform negotiations.
- Monitor network performance, cost metrics, and provider satisfaction for leadership reporting.
- Resolve provider issues professionally and ensure timely support.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to ensure network stability.
- Support provider onboarding, training, and resource distribution.
- Collaborate with internal teams like Claims and Credentialing to resolve operational issues.
