Requirements
- Proven experience building recommendation, search, matching, or propensity systems.
- Experience in applied model ownership, including building, validating, and monitoring models in production.
- Experience working in version-controlled codebases and collaborating with engineers on production implementation.
- Technical experience with distributed systems, HTTP, gRPC, and streaming architectures.
- Experience with Go or TypeScript programming languages.
- Strong product thinking and ability to communicate technical choices to various stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, globally distributed team environment.
Responsibilities
- Evolve the Interactive Learning Plugin's recommendation system by developing personalized approaches to ranking and next-best-action recommendations.
- Build and operate real-time recommendation services and model training pipelines.
- Develop, validate, monitor, and iterate on models used in a production environment.
- Define and measure recommendation performance using offline, online, and longitudinal metrics.
- Partner with software engineers and data analysts to productionize models and design experiments.
- Collaborate with Developer Advocacy, Product, and Engineering teams to translate product goals into testable hypotheses.
