Requirements
- Deep expertise in recommendation and personalization science (ranking, search, matching, or next-best-action)
- Applied experience building, validating, and monitoring models in operational environments
- Experience working in version-controlled codebases
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineers on production implementation
- Experience with distributed systems and technologies such as HTTP/gRPC and streaming
- Proficiency in Go or TypeScript
- Strong product thinking and technical communication skills
- Ability to explain complex modeling choices and tradeoffs to diverse audiences
Responsibilities
- Evolve the Interactive Learning Plugin's recommendation system
- Develop increasingly personalized approaches to candidate selection, ranking, sequencing, and next-best-action recommendations
- Build and operate applied models in a production environment
- Define, develop, and monitor offline, online, and longitudinal measures of recommendation performance
- Partner with software engineers and data analysts to productionize models and ensure safe integration
- Collaborate with Product, GTM, and Advocacy teams to translate needs into testable hypotheses
