Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in the high-tech industry (e.g., Developer, Architect, Sales Engineer/Architect, Manager).
- Proven track record of mentoring individual contributors and managing team performance.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth remote-first startup environment.
- Fluency in English (second European language preferred).
- Direct experience selling monitoring, data, or visualization products.
- Knowledge of formal sales methodologies (e.g., COM, Value selling, MEDDPICC).
- Experience with Open Source or Cloud-first/Product-led sales go-to-market motions.
- Ability to own a book of business and direct initiatives to exceed quarterly targets.
- Located in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Attract, recruit, ramp and mentor a team of Presales Solutions Engineers.
- Adopt a player/coach leadership approach to balance field responsibilities with team development.
- Partner with sales leadership to drive adoption and expansion through community events and marketing initiatives.
- Provide executive sponsorship for key accounts in the region.
- Influence product roadmap through data-driven feedback from customers and team insights.
- Manage regional reporting, quarterly cadences, and technical evaluations including demonstrations and POVs.
- Drive enablement and sales through local, geo, and global channel partners.
