Requirements
- Approximately 7+ years of professional experience.
- At least 5 years designing and implementing energy research and evaluation projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in qualitative research including in-depth interviews, focus groups, and thematic analysis.
- Strong experience in quantitative research including survey design, statistical methods, and data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to lead research and evaluation studies from design through delivery.
- Strong project management skills, including managing scopes, schedules, budgets, and quality assurance.
- Experience supporting client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor.
- Experience managing, coaching, and mentoring staff.
- Familiarity with impact evaluations, process evaluations, and market assessments.
Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships by identifying needs, risks, and opportunities, and develop research and evaluation strategies.
- Lead and contribute to the execution of research, evaluation, and advisory projects.
- Develop research and evaluation solutions that follow industry best practices and apply innovations in research methodology.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver work meeting objectives and client expectations.
- Ensure project scopes, schedules, and budgets are executed successfully and in alignment with contract requirements.
- Communicate complex technical content, including research methodology and findings, to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support quality assurance by helping establish review processes and staffing approaches.
- Design and lead qualitative research projects (in-depth interviews, focus groups) and quantitative projects (surveys, statistical analysis).
