Requirements
- 7+ years of related work experience in commercial or retail design in a brand or practice environment.
- Fluent in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Experience using Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaborative, cross-functional work.
- Excellent verbal communication skills for presenting to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Ethically minded with a passion for sustainable processes and material consideration.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables.
- Organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to travel approximately 2 times per quarter for store visits and team meetings.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent (preferred).
- 3+ years visual merchandising experience (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Develop full design packages for new stores, relocations, and expansions, including schematics and millwork.
- Collaborate with and direct external consultants to ensure projects meet design intent, codes, and deadlines.
- Review and redline technical drawing sets to ensure documentation accuracy.
- Implement design strategies to support visual merchandising objectives across 260+ North American stores.
- Provide team leadership, mentorship, and process development for the Shop and Space Planning team.
- Prepare 3D models and presentations for senior leadership approval.
- Conduct periodic store visits to evaluate visual standards and project execution.
