Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Java 17+ (Spring Boot), microservice architecture, and developing enterprise SaaS applications on AWS.
- Extensive experience building and evolving cloud-native, data analytics platforms in production.
- Strong system design expertise in distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and large-scale data processing.
- Deep knowledge of analytics workflows, performance, and correctness.
- Experience with AI-assisted development, agentic code generation tools, and conversational AI assistants.
- Proven ability to influence architectural direction and lead initiatives beyond immediate scope.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and make sound technical decisions.
- Proficiency with modern cloud-native patterns and AI-first engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and build key features and architectural improvements end-to-end.
- Write production code in critical services, pipelines, and frameworks.
- Provide mentorship to other developers through design reviews, pair programming, and code reviews.
- Drive technical decisions for the Data Analytics Platform architecture.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to disambiguate requirements and communicate trade-offs.
- Maintain high engineering standards through CI/CD, testing, and operational practices.
- Manage production reliability and provide 24/7 support for squad systems.
