Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Experience with high-volume, distributed, data-intensive technical architectures.
- Strong understanding of Domain Driven Design (DDD) concepts like bounded contexts and event storming.
- Experience with Big Data technologies (ElasticSearch, NoSQL, Kafka, Columnar Databases, Pipeline Systems).
- Proficiency with Cloud Provider platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expertise in CI/CD automation using tools like Terraform, Jenkins, or CodePipeline.
- Ability to design and communicate architectural perspectives using patterns like Service Oriented Architecture or micro-services.
- Strong knowledge of API/Data model design, scaling, and high-availability systems.
- Experience with infrastructure services like Enterprise Message Bus, configuration services, and observability systems.
- Understanding of security-first design and development practices.
- Experience identifying and integrating third-party commercial or open-source components.
Responsibilities
- Drive the definition and evolution of architecture using Distributed Domain Driven Design practices.
- Act as strategy leader for Architecture Quality Attributes including availability, performance, and scalability.
- Provide project-embedded architecture consultation to promote best practices and design patterns.
- Prioritize platform capability improvements across feature and data platforms.
- Enhance architecture communication through automation and design documentation tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build consensus on architectural decisions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
