Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in PR, communications, or media relations with a track record of successful placements.
- Near-native English proficiency and comfort with direct phone and in-person communication with US media and advisors.
- Proven experience building and managing author or expert platforms, including book launches and press kits.
- Experience securing speaking slots, maximizing sponsorships, and representing a brand at industry conferences.
- Strong proficiency in using AI tools to build and optimize media lists, monitoring, and outreach processes.
- Relationship-driven approach to work, focusing on building long-term trust rather than content creation.
- Demonstrated ability to function as a self-sufficient operator who proactively identifies and solves challenges.
- Must be able to travel to the US up to 6 times per year for approximately one week at a time.
- Reliable remote work setup with a US phone number and dialing capability.
Responsibilities
- Lead PR programs end-to-end, including media pitching, source interviews, and securing placements in articles, podcasts, and interviews.
- Coordinate book publishing from edits and endorsements to press kits and distribution, including managing testimonial and review video production.
- Build and maintain advisor relationships through workshops, e-courses, and community-building efforts like meet-and-greets and conferences.
- Oversee conference and sponsorship activities, including recommending events, representing the brand on the ground, and managing lead follow-up.
- Develop radio and podcast program content and manage earned-media campaigns.
- Source and vet additional talent, such as videographers or influencers, as required for program success.
