Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with ability to build production-quality code.
- Proficiency in at least one primary SDK language: Go, Java, TypeScript, Python, or .NET.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals (state management, fault tolerance, concurrency, event-driven architectures).
- Demonstrated experience creating high-quality technical education content (tutorials, workshops, courses, documentation).
- Clear and pragmatic written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience as a senior individual contributor taking ownership of projects.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across product, engineering, and marketing teams.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences and team offsites.
Responsibilities
- Shape the education platform and the direction of the learning experience.
- Design and build exercise-first courses, tutorials, and labs with hands-on examples.
- Produce video education content, including long-form walkthroughs and short-form clips.
- Build hands-on AI and agent content demonstrating Temporal's role in reliable AI systems.
- Design learning experiences that reflect modern, interactive developer workflows.
- Keep educational materials aligned with product capabilities and architectural patterns.
- Maintain reference implementations, labs, and best-practices examples.
- Represent education at conferences, workshops, and training sessions.
- Partner with enterprise-facing teams to create scalable educational assets.
- Support trainer and developer certification programs.
