Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
- Experience testing enterprise software, client-server applications, and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of verification and validation (V&V), regression testing, and risk-based testing.
- Experience creating test plans, test cases, and maintaining requirements traceability.
- Familiarity with Agile development environments and release management practices.
- Experience with Jira and test management platforms.
- Ability to validate databases, deployments, upgrades, and APIs.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: Experience with healthcare IT environments, medical imaging, DICOM, HL7, PACS, or VNA.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Linux, SQL/Oracle, containerized environments, or automation frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute verification and validation strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Perform system, integration, regression, and defect verification testing.
- Validate application workflows, integrations, databases, and healthcare imaging systems.
- Conduct installation, upgrade, migration, and deployment qualification testing.
- Execute performance and scalability testing and analyze system stability.
- Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and requirements traceability.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, DevOps, and support teams to resolve release-blocking issues.
