Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field related to clinical research or healthcare.
- Minimum of 7 years of industry experience.
- At least 5 years managing Phase I–III clinical trials with financial responsibility.
- Experience leading concurrent multi-centre and multinational clinical trials with significant budgets.
- Strong knowledge of clinical development processes, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and ICH standards.
- Knowledge of Health Canada requirements and FDA regulations.
- Proven experience managing project timelines, budgets, resources, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and project management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues and build effective working relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of domestic, regional, and international clinical trials.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, quality requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, clinical sites, CRAs, vendors, and internal project teams.
- Ensure studies remain audit-ready through proper documentation, training oversight, and Trial Master File (TMF) management.
- Monitor financial performance, review project budgets, and identify out-of-scope activities.
- Collaborate with regulatory, data management, and clinical teams to support submissions and database milestones.
- Mentor project managers and team members while contributing to process improvement initiatives.
