Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Python, PyTorch (or equivalent framework), and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience building and deploying clinical or biomedical ML models (using EHR, time-series, sensor, or imaging data).
- Deep comfort dealing with real-world, messy, sparse, or weakly labeled device data.
- Strong grasp of ML evaluation methodologies, including data leakage prevention and customized metric design.
- Exceptional written communication skills to exert technical influence in a remote, asynchronous team.
- Advanced degree in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy rigorous ML evaluations, defining clinical correctness to ensure safety.
- Ship production models by taking them from experimental notebooks to live services integrated with the RS360 backend.
- Develop cohort and outcome analytics from patient-level monitoring data, accounting for confounders.
- Measure and iterate model quality by establishing historical backtesting against human-written notes.
- Protect patient privacy by handling Protected Health Information safely while balancing data utility and compliance.
