Requirements
- First commercial or project experience with Power BI (internship, freelance, academic, or personal projects).
- Basic understanding of DAX and willingness to develop proficiency quickly.
- Foundational knowledge of data modeling concepts including star schema and relationships.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Eagerness to learn how Power BI connects to cloud data sources such as Azure Synapse, SQL databases, or Databricks.
- Proactive, curious mindset with initiative.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in an international, remote-first environment.
- English language proficiency at B2 level or above.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards for global clients across diverse industries, with guidance from senior team members.
- Learning and applying DAX measures and data modeling concepts such as star schema, relationships, and cardinality in real project contexts.
- Collaborating with Data Engineers and senior BI Developers to understand data structures and upstream pipelines.
- Supporting business stakeholders in gathering requirements and translating them into clear visualizations.
- Maintaining data quality and consistency across reports, with attention to lineage, documentation, and best practices.
- Contributing to BI standards and reusable component libraries as you grow your technical scope.
- Getting hands-on with CI/CD practices and version control for Power BI assets.
- Continuously developing your skills and staying up to date with the Power BI and Azure ecosystem.
