Requirements

  • Active attorney license and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 3+ years of experience managing document review projects with a legal service provider, law firm, or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of litigation discovery processes, objectives, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse contractor attorney teams while meeting quality, timeline, and budget requirements.
  • Experience developing matter-specific review workflows and quality control processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently or collaboratively.
  • High attention to detail and strong commitment to client satisfaction.
  • Technical aptitude and experience using document review platforms such as Relativity or comparable technologies.
  • Interest in leveraging technology and innovative solutions to improve legal review processes.
  • Self-driven mindset with strong ownership, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage document review projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with project requirements, quality standards, timelines, and operational goals.
  • Develop and implement review strategies, workflows, and project plans tailored to client needs and matter-specific objectives.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for clients, legal counsel, staffing partners, and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Advise on review workflow optimization and recommend best practices to improve accuracy, efficiency, and overall project performance.
  • Manage review teams, including team leads and contract attorneys, ensuring adherence to established processes, productivity targets, and quality expectations.
  • Establish and maintain quality control measures to support consistent and reliable review results.
  • Collaborate with technology specialists and project teams to implement efficiency solutions, including AI-driven review tools, redaction workflows, and privilege logging processes.
  • Provide legal subject matter expertise and support clients with discovery strategy and execution.
  • Monitor project performance, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to process optimization initiatives.
  • Balance multiple priorities while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
