Requirements
- 7+ years of proven experience in database development and BI reporting.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, including window functions and common table expressions.
- Expert knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, and dynamic data visualization tools.
- Experience with the Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, ADF).
- Solid understanding of Epic data structures (Clarity and Caboodle).
- Sound knowledge of healthcare and health plan workflows.
- Proficiency in data ETL concepts, processes, and tools.
- Advanced knowledge of database/data warehousing concepts including data lakes, relational and dimensional modeling.
- Familiarity with Agile project management methods (SCRUM, Lean, Kanban).
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or healthcare discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Epic Clarity-Caboodle Development certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with business teams and subject matter experts to translate requirements into BI reports and dashboards.
- Create data models, ERD, and data flow diagrams.
- Build functional data marts and perform ad-hoc queries to support decision-making.
- Maintain and extend the Epic Caboodle platform with custom modeling components.
- Implement best practices for data quality, integrity, and master data management.
- Support enterprise data governance, including security and metadata management.
- Contribute to project lifecycle management including estimation and task prioritization.
