Requirements
- Associate’s degree from an accredited University.
- 15 years of direct experience developing and implementing nuclear security programs in operating plants or new-build projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of US NRC 10 CFR Regulations and NEI guidance.
- Experience developing security program implementation strategies, project plans, and physical security design concepts.
- Experience developing security programs during the phases of nuclear plant construction through operation.
- Ability to adhere to strict quality assurance standards.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and Adobe Professional.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work on simultaneous tasks requiring a multi-disciplinary approach.
- Must meet qualification requirements per ANSI/ANS 3.1.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the successful implementation of licensing actions associated with Physical Security Programs for both construction and operations.
- Support the design, construction, and implementation of all physical protection systems including barriers, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
- Develop security life cycle documents including project plans, concept of operation plans, and procedures.
- Perform nuclear security assessments to support site protective strategies and contingency response plans.
- Serve as a security liaison to internal and external stakeholders for plant design and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with design personnel to ensure design changes meet physical security regulatory requirements.
- Serve as an SME for Access Authorization (AA) and Fitness For Duty (FFD) programs.
