Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Account Management, Customer Success, Solutions Architecture, Cloud Consulting, or a related technical customer-facing role.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior team members.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Cloud certifications from AWS, Azure, or GCP are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, cloud economics, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Familiarity with FinOps principles and cloud financial management practices.
  • Experience with cloud commitment programs such as Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Committed Use Discounts, EDP, or MACC.
  • Proven ability to present technical recommendations and business insights to executive stakeholders.
  • Experience managing enterprise customer relationships and driving customer success outcomes.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • FinOps Certified Practitioner certification or similar experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor for enterprise and mid-market customers across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
  • Build strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders by understanding customer architectures, financial goals, and operational priorities.
  • Monitor cloud commitment coverage and utilization while providing proactive recommendations to maximize savings and reduce risk.
  • Advise customers on multi-cloud strategies, cloud governance, FinOps maturity, and optimization opportunities.
  • Transform cloud consumption data into actionable insights and executive-level recommendations.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews by presenting usage trends, cost savings, performance insights, and strategic opportunities.
  • Partner with account teams to identify expansion opportunities and support evolving customer cloud requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to resolve customer challenges and influence future product improvements.
  • Mentor junior Technical Account Managers and contribute to the development of scalable customer success processes and best practices.
