Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Account Management, Customer Success, Solutions Architecture, Cloud Consulting, or a related technical customer-facing role.
- Experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior team members.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Cloud certifications from AWS, Azure, or GCP are preferred.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, cloud economics, and cost optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with FinOps principles and cloud financial management practices.
- Experience with cloud commitment programs such as Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Committed Use Discounts, EDP, or MACC.
- Proven ability to present technical recommendations and business insights to executive stakeholders.
- Experience managing enterprise customer relationships and driving customer success outcomes.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- FinOps Certified Practitioner certification or similar experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical advisor for enterprise and mid-market customers across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Build strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders by understanding customer architectures, financial goals, and operational priorities.
- Monitor cloud commitment coverage and utilization while providing proactive recommendations to maximize savings and reduce risk.
- Advise customers on multi-cloud strategies, cloud governance, FinOps maturity, and optimization opportunities.
- Transform cloud consumption data into actionable insights and executive-level recommendations.
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews by presenting usage trends, cost savings, performance insights, and strategic opportunities.
- Partner with account teams to identify expansion opportunities and support evolving customer cloud requirements.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to resolve customer challenges and influence future product improvements.
- Mentor junior Technical Account Managers and contribute to the development of scalable customer success processes and best practices.
