Requirements

- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills

- Experience managing content calendars and cross-functional production pipelines
- Familiarity with social media platforms and CMS tools
- Experience with basic analytics reporting
- Strong understanding of gaming culture, community dynamics, and player psychology
- Ability to adapt tone and style across multiple formats and audiences
- Excellent collaboration skills and comfort working with technical and creative teams
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute content calendars across social media, blog posts, newsletters, press materials, and web copy
- Write, edit, and proofread public-facing content including announcements, patch notes, dev blogs, and marketing copy
- Collaborate with game designers, artists, and producers to translate development updates into player-friendly narratives
- Partner with the community team to ensure messaging aligns with player sentiment and community needs
- Coordinate with external partners on co-marketing content and campaigns
- Maintain brand voice and editorial standards across all public communications
- Manage content production timelines, ensuring materials are ready ahead of key beats
- Analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategy based on engagement data
- Assist in scripting and reviewing video content, trailers, and livestream materials
- Stay current on gaming industry trends, competitor content strategies, and platform best practices
