Requirements

- 4+ years of engineering leadership or people management experience.
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams in fast-moving product organizations.
- Strong understanding of modern backend architectures, distributed systems, and software development practices.
- Experience managing roadmap execution and cross-functional delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, mentor, and develop engineering talent.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience balancing technical quality, business priorities, and delivery timelines.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and decision-making abilities.
- High ownership mentality with a pragmatic and execution-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team through coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Support hiring efforts, interviewing, onboarding, and team expansion initiatives.
- Partner with Product leadership to translate business goals and roadmaps into execution plans.
- Drive planning, prioritization, estimation, and delivery across concurrent initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance on architecture, system design, and engineering best practices.
- Facilitate collaboration across Product, QA, Design, Data Engineering, BI, and DevOps teams.
