Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience managing large-scale, highly available cloud platforms.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Python development focused on automation and infrastructure.
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS core services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, and API Gateway.
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in at least one additional language such as Go, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Deep understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security principles, and cost optimization.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, CodePipeline, or GitHub Actions.
  • Hands-on knowledge of monitoring, logging, metrics, tracing, and observability practices.
  • Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, deployment processes, and quality controls.
  • Develop monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, and related platforms.
  • Automate operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and minimize errors.
  • Maintain high availability, performance, and reliability across large-scale cloud platforms.
  • Implement proactive monitoring strategies for system health, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
  • Execute infrastructure maintenance, patching cycles, and upgrades while minimizing service disruption.
  • Design and support disaster recovery, business continuity, and resilience strategies.
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement vulnerability remediation workflows, access controls, and compliance automation.
  • Develop clean, maintainable code and infrastructure tools using Python and other modern programming languages.
