Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in risk analytics.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Proficiency in Python or R for statistical modeling and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with payment and chargeback data, including reason codes and net loss attribution.
- Solid grasp of A/B testing and experiment design (hypothesis, guardrails, readout).
- Strong data visualization and dashboarding skills.
- Solid statistical foundation.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in a high-growth tech environment; fintech or crypto experience is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining analytical rigor.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user lifecycle activities from on-ramp payments to withdrawals to identify anomalies and net loss drivers.
- Deep-dive into fraud cases and user profiles to quantify exposure and backtest risk mitigation strategies.
- Design and analyze A/B experiments to measure the impact of risk rules on loss, pass rates, and customer friction.
- Leverage machine learning techniques to identify fraud patterns.
- Break down net loss by driver and maintain monitoring metrics for Risk & Compliance.
- Build and maintain dashboards to track payment metrics with clear alerting.
- Partner with Risk, Payments, and Product teams to translate insights into shipped solutions.
