Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, or consulting.
  • Strong grasp of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial modeling.
  • Bachelors/Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems.
  • Analytical problem-solver capable of translating business questions into insights.
  • Self-starter with a curious mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Strong ownership mentality.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, complex, early-stage startup environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior leaders with data-driven analysis and strategic insights by managing department spend across technology, marketing, and OpEx.
  • Build, maintain, and evolve financial models to support company financial goals across all statements.
  • Support quarterly forecast updates and external financial reporting to investors.
  • Partner with the People team to align hiring plans with company goals and headcount spend.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly commission calculations, ensuring accuracy and cross-functional alignment.
  • Analyze vendor spend and support contract renewals to ensure efficient use of company resources.
  • Support accounts receivable reconciliation, claims analysis, and issue resolution to improve cash flow forecasting.
  • Own and drive partnership payments in support of the Partnerships team.
  • Investigate forecast variances and financial trends to identify root causes and surface risks to leadership.
