Requirements
- Advanced degree in life sciences (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP, PA-C, MSN).
- Knowledge of PhRMA, AGA, and other relevant compliance guidelines.
- Understanding of the clinical development process and ICH-GCP guidelines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to maintain scientific credibility while being commercially supportive.
- Experience in pharmaceutical medical affairs or as a health care provider (strongly preferred).
- Previous participation in a Medical Affairs Fellowship or Internship (preferred).
- MSL experience (preferred).
- Product launch experience (preferred).
- Therapeutic area experience in GI (preferred).
- Ability to travel 30-50% and drive within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare stakeholders.
- Provide clinical presentations and information in response to unsolicited questions in various settings.
- Collaborate with the clinical organization to enhance patient enrollment in Phathom-sponsored clinical trials.
- Act as a primary liaison to investigators interested in investigator-initiated research.
- Develop and execute territory plans in alignment with strategic regional and national goals.
- Gather and share insights from KOLs, healthcare providers, and investigators with internal stakeholders.
- Provide scientific support at medical congresses.
