Experience
MSL: Doctorate or Master’s degree & 3 years of Medical Affairs experience. Senior MSL: Doctorate & 2 years of Medical Affairs experience or Master’s degree & 6 years of Medical Affairs experience.

Requirements

  • Advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA, or equivalent).
  • For MSL: Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of Medical Affairs experience.
  • For Senior MSL: Doctorate degree with 2+ years of Medical Affairs experience OR Master’s degree with 6+ years of Medical Affairs experience.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial design, clinical development, and Medical Affairs functions.
  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned geography (approximately 50-70%).
  • Experience engaging with academic medical centers, specialty treatment centers, or infusion centers.
  • Strong scientific and clinical data communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in cell therapy, CAR-T, immunology, rheumatology, nephrology, neurology, or hematology/oncology (preferred).
  • Experience supporting pre-commercial or launch-stage biotechnology organizations (preferred).
  • Familiarity with cell therapy operational concepts including chain of identity and chain of custody.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, establish, and maintain scientific relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), investigators, academic medical centers, and community physicians.
  • Serve as a trusted scientific partner by providing fair-balanced, compliant scientific exchange regarding disease state, treatment landscape, and Kyverna’s CAR-T programs.
  • Develop and execute geography-specific Medical Affairs and KOL engagement plans aligned with therapeutic and medical strategy.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Development and Operations to support trial site identification, investigator engagement, and trial awareness.
  • Capture and communicate high-quality medical insights to internal stakeholders to inform clinical and development decision-making.
  • Provide scientific support at congresses, advisory boards, and medical education forums.
  • Respond to unsolicited medical information requests and complete all required CRM and administrative documentation.
