Requirements
- Advanced SQL skills with experience building production-grade data pipelines.
- Production experience designing, maintaining, and optimizing workflows with dbt and BigQuery.
- Experience using Dagster or similar orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect.
- Proficiency in Python for building pipelines, automation, and data engineering tools.
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, ELT patterns, and dataset design.
- Experience with Git version control, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Interest in working in an AI-driven environment and applying LLMs to data problems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own end-to-end data pipelines and transformation workflows using dbt on BigQuery.
- Develop scalable ELT models supporting analytics, AI, marketing, and operational use cases.
- Orchestrate and schedule data workflows using Dagster to ensure reliability and observability.
- Partner with analysts and data scientists to deliver self-serve datasets in Hex.
- Build marketing attribution models and reverse ETL workflows for platforms like Google Ads and Meta.
- Optimize BigQuery workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
