Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with at least one major programming language (e.g., Go, Python, .NET, Java, Rust).
- In-depth knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (core services, APIs, identity, networking).
- Experience with cloud-based software development and production systems.
- Experience writing clean, maintainable, robust, and performant software.
- Familiarity with observability tooling such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience driving projects from ideation to production.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience participating in an on-call rotation and incident management.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-quality, scalable integrations for infrastructure components, databases, and applications.
- Create middleware components, SDKs, and libraries to simplify observability solutions development.
- Represent Grafana Labs in open source forums, working groups, and events when necessary.
- Develop features that align with product strategy in collaboration with design, docs, and product teams.
- Support the technical direction and vision of the team through strategic discussions.
- Work across departments including Sales and Support to ensure a holistic product experience.
- Participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations and maintain ownership of services.
