Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in an international Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits or Reward role.
  • Strong understanding of compensation regulations and compliance, including EU Pay Transparency legislation.
  • Experience working with works councils.
  • Extensive experience with job grading methodologies and job architecture frameworks (e.g., Mercer or comparable).
  • Experience supporting both blue-collar and white-collar employee populations.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on mindset.
  • Proficiency in working with complex data, analyses, and executive-level decision making.
  • Ability to build relationships across organizational levels and communicate confidently with senior leadership.
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in both German and English.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a global Total Rewards strategy covering compensation, benefits and mobility.
  • Design and continuously improve scalable frameworks, systems and processes for compensation, benefits and global mobility.
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of short-term incentive (STI) plans and other variable compensation programs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, including EU Pay Transparency regulations.
  • Develop job architecture and grading frameworks to create transparent career structures.
  • Own the governance of grading processes and ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Prepare data-driven analyses, business cases, and executive presentations for HR leadership.
  • Advise HR Business Partners, People leaders and senior stakeholders on compensation and reward-related topics.
  • Analyze market trends and benchmark data to ensure competitive reward offerings.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal and external partners to optimize the Total Rewards landscape.
