Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in software testing, quality engineering, and test automation.
  • Strong programming experience in at least one language such as TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Extensive knowledge of test automation methodologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with web automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar technologies.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Buildkite, Spinnaker, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git-based workflows.
  • Ability to design solutions for ambiguous and complex problems involving multiple systems and teams.
  • Excellent debugging, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of comprehensive test automation strategies across multiple testing layers, including unit, service, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Design, build, maintain, and optimize automated testing frameworks and tools to improve product quality and engineering efficiency.
  • Partner with engineering teams to increase test coverage, improve system testability, and promote best practices in software development.
  • Develop and maintain web automation solutions using modern frameworks and technologies.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous validation throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, analyze failures, debug defects, and validate solutions before and after releases.
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions, providing guidance on building modular, scalable, and testable systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality risks and deliver reliable solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating existing processes, frameworks, and automation opportunities.
  • Act as a technical leader and mentor, promoting quality engineering practices across teams.
