- Solid command of CAT tools (e.g., memoQ, Trados, XTM).
- Familiarity with workflow platforms such as JIRA or Plunet.
- Excellent linguistic accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Adaptability to feedback and shifting project requirements.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Commitment to company policies, ISO quality standards, and GDPR.
- Candidate must be located within Portugal.
Responsibilities
- Translate in-game text, UI, legal materials, and supporting documentation per client guidelines.
- Edit and review translations to ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and natural flow.
- Develop and maintain glossaries, style guides, and character profiles.
- Meet project deadlines and productivity targets within a localization pipeline.
- Collaborate with fellow translators to ensure cohesion and logical content flow.
- Resolve localization issues and bugs identified during testing or review.
- Utilize translation and project management tools like memoQ and JIRA to track progress.
- Onboard new translators and support candidate test evaluations.
- Maintain constant communication with clients regarding language matters.
