Requirements
- Exceptional proficiency in both Italian and English.
- Strong cultural understanding of the Italian market.
- 1–3 years of experience in translation, localization, or related language services.
- Game localization experience is preferred.
- Solid command of CAT tools (e.g., memoQ, Trados, XTM).
- Familiarity with workflow platforms such as JIRA or Plunet.
- Excellent linguistic accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborative mindset with ability to manage independent tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines.
- Commitment to ISO quality standards and GDPR compliance.
- Must be located within Portugal.
Responsibilities
- Translate in-game text, UI, and legal materials into Italian following client guidelines.
- Edit and review translations to ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and natural flow.
- Develop and update glossaries, style guides, and character profiles.
- Meet project deadlines and productivity targets within a localization pipeline.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure content cohesion and resolve localization bugs.
- Utilize CAT tools and project management systems like JIRA for tracking and workflow visibility.
- Assist in onboarding new translators and support test evaluations.
