Requirements
- Master's degree in biostatistics or a closely related field.
- At least 4 years of consulting or related experience in a healthcare environment.
- Experience managing large datasets in a healthcare environment.
- Advanced proficiency with SAS or R programming for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Experience with logistic regression, time-to-event (survival), and observational data analysis methods.
- Solid understanding of clinical research fundamentals and model building.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent validation and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the design of clinical research studies.
- Write biostatistical analysis plans for research proposals and internal grants.
- Calculate sample size and power for clinical studies.
- Manage, analyze, and interpret study data and results.
- Contribute to study publications and manuscript preparation.
- Educate residents and staff on statistical techniques and methods of analysis.
- Provide statistical consultations or collaborations with clinical principal investigators.
- Develop methods of data collection and prepare publication quality graphics.
