Requirements
- 6–20 years of backend engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Go or Java.
- Excellent computer science fundamentals.
- Broad backend expertise including APIs, databases, distributed systems, and infrastructure.
- Experience owning end-to-end systems in a startup or major production environment.
- Proven history of building secure, scalable architectures.
- Deep experience with IAM protocols: OAuth 2.0, SAML, OIDC, WebAuthn.
- Familiarity with PKI, certificate authorities, and corporate security/IT (MDM, endpoint).
- Implementation experience with production audit logging.
- Strong CI/CD concepts and Kubernetes experience.
- Database schema design and proficiency with raw SQL.
- Experience working with compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CCPA.
- CS degree from a top program.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build secure, scalable distributed microservices.
- Design systems for high availability and enterprise workloads.
- Implement robust audit logging and observability.
- Design database schemas and write performant raw SQL.
- Build and maintain production CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments.
- Design and implement identity and access management integrations (OAuth, SAML, OIDC, WebAuthn).
- Contribute to compliance practices including SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CCPA.
- Partner across product, design, and engineering teams.
