Requirements
- 2+ years of direct experience supporting a U.S. or California-based personal injury law firm.
- Native or near-native fluency in written and spoken Spanish.
- Excellent professional English grammar and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of California personal injury lifecycle, HIPAA authorizations, and medical liens.
- Ability to work standard business hours in U.S. Pacific Time Zone (PT).
- Experience using legal case management software (e.g., Filevine, Clio, Litify).
- Proficiency with VOIP systems like RingCentral and standard office software.
- Reliable, high-speed internet connection and a dedicated quiet home office setup.
Responsibilities
- Handle new client onboarding, collect accident data, and file initial claims with insurance carriers.
- Proactively request, follow up on, and organize medical records, billing statements, and lien balances.
- Serve as primary contact for clients, providing case updates in both English and Spanish.
- Communicate daily with insurance adjusters to verify policy limits and track claim status.
- Update and maintain electronic case files within cloud-based management software.
