Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Catalog, Metadata Management, Data Governance, or Enterprise Data Management roles.
- Proven experience implementing or managing enterprise data catalog solutions and metadata management capabilities.
- Strong understanding of business glossaries, data lineage, data quality management, governance frameworks, stewardship models, and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Experience defining data ownership structures, stewardship responsibilities, and governance operating models.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into practical data management solutions.
- Experience delivering workshops, training sessions, and change enablement initiatives.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Experience with Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Experience supporting MDM and CRM initiatives is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assess current data catalog, metadata management, and data governance capabilities to identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and interviews to understand data processes, ownership needs, and priorities.
- Identify critical data assets, document data flows, and define requirements for catalog adoption.
- Develop and implement enterprise data catalog strategies including taxonomy, classification, and business glossaries.
- Establish and operationalize data governance frameworks, including data domains and stewardship models.
- Support Customer Domain governance initiatives by standardizing concepts related to customer lifecycle and journey.
- Contribute to data quality improvement, compliance, audits, and governance documentation.
- Identify data quality challenges and recommend remediation approaches.
- Support data literacy and change management through training and governance guides.
- Provide strategic support to data leadership on data management and AI readiness.
