Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline required.
- At least 5 years of practical bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Experience using QuickBooks or similar cloud-based accounting software in a professional environment.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, financial processes, and accounting best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple client priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence interacting directly with clients.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage responsibilities in a remote setting.
- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support teammates and contribute to shared goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities and maintain accurate financial records for assigned client accounts.
- Support a portfolio of small and midsize business clients by ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent accounting services.
- Collaborate closely with Client Portfolio Managers and teammates to prioritize tasks, resolve issues, and maintain client satisfaction.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding assigned accounting items, questions, and follow-ups.
- Perform accounting tasks using cloud-based financial platforms and maintain organized documentation.
- Review financial information for accuracy and identify discrepancies or areas requiring additional attention.
- Assist with ongoing financial operations and provide insights that support client decision-making.
- Proactively identify challenges, communicate risks, and contribute to solutions that improve service delivery.
- Maintain strong working relationships with remote team members through effective collaboration and communication.
