Requirements
- Professional experience in a skilled trade.
- Prior experience in coaching or mentoring.
- Ability to break down complex technical and business concepts in a structured manner.
- Familiarity with industry-standard safety protocols and regulatory codes.
- Capacity to host sessions virtually.
Responsibilities
- Teach core skills in system installation, maintenance and repair, troubleshooting, and tool and equipment operation.
- Instruct on code compliance, regulatory and safety standards, and necessary technical certifications.
- Provide guidance on business operations, marketing, and freelancing for independent trade professionals.
- Support students with career services including resume review, LinkedIn profile optimization, interview preparation, and salary negotiation.
- Host virtual sessions and partner with the Leland team to deliver supportive educational experiences.
