Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with security technical controls, IT operations, and/or security compliance.
- Full lifecycle experience with technical security controls including building, tuning, maintaining, and retiring.
- Hands-on experience operating a SIEM to investigate alerts, tune detections, and close visibility gaps.
- Experience with formal audits such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP.
- Practical experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and SaaS/cloud administration.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar.
- Proven ability to translate security policies into enforced technical controls.
- Experience with AWS security and Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
- Familiarity with compiled languages like Go or Rust for automation.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or cloud security certifications.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operation of centralized logging and SIEM, including alert investigation and detection tuning.
- Drive end-to-end vulnerability management from scanning through remediation.
- Harden cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and manage security infrastructure as code.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to conduct security reviews and architect secure solutions.
- Oversee secrets management, endpoint/EDR, and data-protection controls.
- Manage security-critical IT operations, including endpoint hardening and core SaaS application security.
- Automate security compliance evidence collection and manage the GRC platform.
