Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, or cloud consulting.
- 5-10 years of related IT experience in software development, system administration, or system engineering.
- Proven experience in consultative technical sales or professional services.
- Proven experience in customer-facing positions.
- Firm knowledge and experience with SAN and NAS technologies.
- Advanced level experience with Data Center networks and network topologies.
- Advanced software architecture skills with experience building complex system designs.
- Advanced hands-on technical experience with VMware and/or AWS technologies.
- Understanding of application workloads including SQL, Oracle, SharePoint, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of backup and disaster recovery solutions and architectures.
- Ability to build relationships with all organizational levels from technical experts to senior executives.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, partners, and MSPs to understand business needs and translate them into scalable cloud solutions.
- Design, document, build, and present cloud architectures aligning with best practices and customer objectives.
- Serve as the technical lead for solution positioning, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and product demonstrations.
- Act as a trusted advisor and technical point of contact to provide ongoing advisory and gather product improvement feedback.
- Monitor assigned customer cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to accelerate adoption and contribute to go-to-market strategies.
- Assist in the onboarding and mentoring of Solution Architecture team members.
