Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
- Initial leadership experience, such as tech leading or mentoring.
- Production-level experience with dbt models.
- Experience designing and reviewing data pipelines hosted on Google Cloud BigQuery.
- Expert-level SQL skills.
- Strong Python scripting capabilities for pipeline orchestration (e.g., Airflow, Cloud Composer).
- Practical experience with agile methodologies.
- Professional English language skills (B2 level or higher).
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 2-4 data engineers while staying technically involved.
- Run agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Own team-level quarterly OKRs.
- Design and build high-quality data pipelines.
- Review dbt models on Google Cloud BigQuery for performance and reliability.
