Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in billing operations, revenue accounting, or finance operations.
- 3+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
- Strong background in Order to Cash and Revenue Accounting processes.
- Proven experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.
- Demonstrated experience with automation, AI, or process improvement initiatives.
- Strong technical knowledge of ASC 606/IFRS15 and US GAAP authoritative literature.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in the SaaS or technology industry.
- Ability to work standard East Coast working hours.
Responsibilities
- Manage global billing operations to ensure accurate, timely invoicing aligned with contract terms.
- Oversee the end-to-end invoicing lifecycle post-Closed Won, including validation and delivery.
- Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Perform contract analyses under ASC 606, managing performance obligations and SSP allocation.
- Lead collections processes, including AR aging and dispute resolution, to improve cash realization.
- Drive automation and process standardization to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Maintain SOX compliance and support external audits through documentation and walkthroughs.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team by establishing clear goals and performance expectations.
