Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years in the software industry (e.g., technical consultant, architect, or developer).
- 2+ years experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar role.
- Proven experience working on ERP Finance products or large-scale financial systems.
- Strong understanding of ERP Finance concepts (General Ledger, AP/AR, budgeting, fund accounting).
- Experience designing scalable, secure backend systems.
- Expertise in API and integration design (REST, event-driven systems).
- Proficiency in data modeling for financial systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable).
- Understanding of security, access controls, and audit logging.
- Ability to translate complex accounting concepts into technical designs.
- Experience supporting implementations or migrations of ERP finance systems.
Responsibilities
- Own product and technical design for core Sparkrock Finance capabilities including General Ledger, AP, AR, budgeting, and fund accounting.
- Partner with customers and internal teams to translate finance business needs into technical and functional requirements.
- Design scalable, secure, and compliant financial solutions including workflows, data models, and APIs.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and customer success to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with product vision.
- Produce detailed functional and technical specifications, diagrams, and decision records.
- Evaluate technical trade-offs to ensure accounting correctness, auditability, and compliance.
- Oversee release readiness with clear rollout plans and stakeholder communication.
