Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years in the software industry (consultant, architect, developer, or designer).
- 2+ years as a Technical Product Manager or similar.
- Proven experience with ERP Finance products or large-scale financial systems.
- Strong understanding of finance concepts: general ledger, AP/AR, budgeting, fund/grant accounting, and financial audits.
- Experience designing scalable, secure backend systems.
- Expertise in API and integration design (REST, event-driven).
- Strong data modeling skills for financial systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable).
- Experience supporting implementations or migrations of ERP finance systems.
- Understanding of security, access controls, audit logging, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Own product and technical design for core Finance capabilities like General Ledger, AP, AR, and budgeting.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate finance business needs into technical and functional requirements.
- Design scalable, secure, and compliant financial solutions including data models and APIs.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and success teams to ensure product feasibility and alignment.
- Produce functional/technical specifications, diagrams, and decision records.
- Evaluate trade-offs regarding accounting correctness, performance, and compliance.
- Manage release readiness with clear rollout plans and stakeholder communication.
